Shiplify started with a simple mission: fix the LTL industry’s greatest problems with technological innovation. From our start as a family-run, geo-spatial provider of shared location information, we’ve grown our team and evolved to leverage AI, machine learning, and API connectivity to deliver reliable location insights to shippers, 3PLs, brokers, and carriers alike.

Letter From Our Founder

Shiplify has established itself as the best new resource in the LTL industry, an industry that has served my family for over four generations. As Chairman of the American Trucking Association, my father, H. Dillon Winship Jr., fought for his industry and his truckline. I learned alot from him and have seen firsthand everything from deregulation in the 1980s to the tidal wave of technological innovation in the decades since.

I couldn’t stop dreaming about what could be fixed in the LTL industry, and landed on one of the biggest issues: Our industry could not provide accurate quotes on roughly 25% of its shipments. Postal Codes became the foundation for pricing in the early 80’s. While these simplified the rating problem, they didn’t possess the granularity necessary to price specific locations.

Ten years ago, I bet on solving the industry’s accessorial problem. Today, Big Data now drives Big Trucks. Thanks to our problem solving prowess and early adoption of Geo-spatial technology combined with machine learning, Shiplify now delivers the location attributes that our industry relies upon.
